Its just like apple to come right over top of the progress that technologist have made, and come out with something completely show stopping. What with Verizon signing on to subsidize an HP netbook and the popularity of all tiny lap babies growing, it seems fitting for the folks at Apple to bring the pain. Ok, so I am an obvious Apple fan but lets face it, they make a great product. Many people out there say they wont bring a netbook to the market. Instead, they say it will be a tablet (think larger iPod touch.) I say it doesn't matter. Something bigger than an iPod touch but smaller than the mac book air would be a sure hit. The iPod touch is a great device and for the most part it really does have alot of good uses, but small screen size really limits its mass apeal in the laptop market.

As with everything, we will have to wait and see what they actually come up with. But if Apple acts as they normally do, it won't fall short of awesome.

I am not sure what to think about committing to a netbook for two years, but if you are going to buy a netbook and an aircard, you might as well save $400. Just remember you are not committing to the netbook for two years, you are committing to the Sprint service for two years. So next year when you want to buy the latest and greatest, just pay regular price for the new netbook and transfer your service.
